800euros for RockVillage? Been to MetalTown at Graspop for the last two years and it was 500 euros 2010 and 600euros 2011. Been three times to Werchter but i only saw the rockvillage for the first time this summer.

No Metallica since they're doing Werchter Boutique on May 28.

Don't think so. They aren't touring Europe then, because otherwise they would have done RW.

Metallica are touring Europe, but all their confirmed shows so far are in May/early June. I was pretty sure that the other two headliners would be Radiohead and Metallica, but Metallica seems to be out. Who could be the fourth headliner then, Nickleback? The Prodigy? Björk? AC/DC? The Beatles?

No Nickelback, they aren't popular at all here in Belgium.
The Prodigy will possibly be there, but not as headliner.
I'm pretty sure Björk will be there too, but also not as headliner.

Maybe Nickleback are not headliner but a lower slot is possible. Saw them at PinkPop in 2006 and they played midday at the second stage. I see Björk as a potential sub to Radiohead(I assume Radiohead headline the Thursday) and maybe The Prodigy can do a set like in 2009 when they played after Oasis, some kind of late night special.
But who is a potential headliner then? Radiohead and who? I can't see Blink-182 headline or the Killers...any ideas? What headlining material bands are touring at the time of Rock Werchter?

I think blink will play but third from top, basing that on them playing pukkelpop a couple of years ago and were nowhere near the headliner spot. Smashing pumpkins have a new album out, could be one of the eight or again maybe third from top, just due to the drop in popularity. I'd say radiohead are a shoe in, let's just hope they don't torture the people of werchter with the kings of limbs too much. Ratm have been rumoured by a few different places, as have rammstein due to the greatest hits tour.
If werchter really want to smash it, then book kanye & Jay Z!

radiohead will be doing a tour of king of limbs mostly! although I cant see where the rumours of them being a shoe in are.

It's a lot smaller compared with Glastonbury, only two stages but they've a usually a good line-up so if you're a bit open-minded you'll have enough to do and see.
The capacity is a bit more than 80.000 people a day. The crowd is pretty good, better than other European festivals like Pinkpop or Main Square Festival.

How long do we have to buy tickets? When is it likely to sell out and when should we sort out the Eurostar? I feel like such a beginner!

Didnt sell out until last minute last year, but year before was around march.
All depends on headliners really.
Eurostar you can book 3 months in advance, best to book early as its alot cheaper.

Funny guypjfreak, I've got your profile pic as a tattoo on my arm
But some rumors flying around that the last two headliners will be two of Radiohead, Foo Fighters and Muse. I think Radiohead will headline the Thursday and if it wasin't for the accident at Pukklepop this summer I'd say Foos on Saturday. I don't know where this Muse rumor comes from though....

cant see where you get the radiohead rumour from gossard.
I hope you right as there would be a chance of them playing roskilde, but be gutted if they play werchter and not roskilde. Although I cant see them playing either this year.

Are you going to Roskilde thetime? Been there a few times and don't really like it. To far between stages so you're running all day and the line up is usually not that strong. ...but the beer is good and the Scandinavian women are gorgeous
