I really hope Tool play main stage before Metallica that would be so much better to warm up with than Biffy 'should be at radio 1 big weekend' Clyro.

dude, metallica requested biffy as their sub, they are hardly going to put another headlining act below them. i know biffy have headlined soni but they obviously don't mind subbing as they are at IOW too subbing there.
besides biffy have a broad appeal theres nothing wrong with them.

I'd sooner watch Biffy than TOOL. Man TOOL are bleak.

there is absolutely no way that the name under the paper isnt the H from megadeths logo.
I would fucking cream my pants of it was Tool, but it just isnt.

they really didnt, thats just a good PR way of putting Biffy in a sub spot after they have already headlined festivals. Bands will say anything to make the politics look good. same as the reason you very rarely hear bands slagging each other off, its all hollywood bullshit. Metallica might well like Biffy, but just because a band "requests" a sub, doesnt mean its gonna happen, its much more likely Biffy were approached, and said "if we arent headlining, you better find a way of making it look good"
