If you get the opportunity go. The Japan tourist board are offering 10000 free flights next year in a bid to bolster visitors, i'm hoping the guy who gets my application loves the Roses as much as me!!

Where do you apply for that?

The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant isn't exactly a million miles away from Tokyo and they are still in the process of mapping out the fallout area in terms of which farming land is useable. I'm sure someone will tell me I don't know my arse from my elbow in terms of radiation (and they'd be right) but f*ck going there for a game of soldiers.

It's been a dream of mine to attend Fuji Rock. I was originally going to do that in 2009 before I opted to go with Europe instead, mainly for Glasto. If I didn't get a ticket in the resale, I was going to do Japan, and I got lucky, so here I came. Glastonbury plus a week in London, 5 days in the Czech Republic, and 2 days in Brighton cost around what I estimated around 10 days would have cost in Japan, including Fuji Rock.

I'd go for the fest if I had the funds, definitely.

I got to go to Tokyo with work a few years ago, absolutely amazing place.  Would love to go to Fuji Rock, but jesus, its over £300 for a ticket + camping.

I am living over in NZ so won't be able to see the Stone Roses in Heaton Park. Would love to make the Fuji Rock Festival

Hopefully Radiohead will be better than the shitty performance (with admitedly shitty sound) at The Park at Glastonbury
