Why does it matter they're Londoners? It's got nothing to do with it. Sure they came from Manchester and it put them on their way, but as Brown once said "it's not where you're from, it's where you're going."

Hope it's all dj's/dance personally. New Order may not be a bad shout, would like The Whip, Justice. Wonder if Jay-Z could be in there, they are all big fans.

I heard a while back and forgot to post that a band from Manchester called Kong are one of the supports. Not sure if true, just something I heard

Kong are fucking brilliant... I'd have thought a bit intense for the palettes of most who will be attending.

They've got a couple of the guys from oceansize in, played with them a few times.

I'd have though elbow would be a good call for the support.... despite the fact they've been touring for ages.

Inspiral Carpets have announced their 1st set of gigs in 4 years, ending on March 24th.

ic1's, inspiral carpets, and noel/beady eye to sub them, noel most likely. but isn't it thought a dancey band will be there too?

i'm try my hardest to sell the room i got at Manchester Ancoats travelodge for the sat urday gig . I gambled and got the room but ended up with sunday tickets , all i want is the price of my sunday room covered . its a 3 bed room and i want £70 for it , it was up for £139.39 and there are none available now

Why are Happy Mondays likely? They're not even together. Their supposed "reunion" was cancelled before it even happened. I don't know who ic1's are, but i wouldn't say Carpets, Noel or Beady Eye are likely.

why aren't they? there's enough to suggest there's a good possibility of it and it's almost down played, publicity all that. carpets are one of the 1st bands that got touted to be there. to have noel there would be a major thing, they look upto them.
