someone has told me that IC1s will be one of the support acts, tho I don't know anything further about that as things stand.

i'd imagine there'll be 4 bands including stone roses?

Why does it matter they're Londoners? It's got nothing to do with it. Sure they came from Manchester and it put them on their way, but as Brown once said "it's not where you're from, it's where you're going."
Hope it's all dj's/dance personally. New Order may not be a bad shout, would like The Whip, Justice. Wonder if Jay-Z could be in there, they are all big fans.

yer it might of came across like i didn't want them because they were from London, i was just adding a little description to the band, still couldn't care less tho ha

I heard a while back and forgot to post that a band from Manchester called Kong are one of the supports. Not sure if true, just something I heard

Kong are fucking brilliant... I'd have thought a bit intense for the palettes of most who will be attending.
They've got a couple of the guys from oceansize in, played with them a few times.
I'd have though elbow would be a good call for the support.... despite the fact they've been touring for ages.

its possible Elbow could over shadow the stone roses if they subbed. but its still not a bad shout.Elbow are truly the sub kings.

Inspiral Carpets have announced their 1st set of gigs in 4 years, ending on March 24th.

ic1's, inspiral carpets, and noel/beady eye to sub them, noel most likely. but isn't it thought a dancey band will be there too?
