The Pretenders would be brilliant. I was slightly gutted when Chrissie Hynde pulled out last year. Would they sub-headline do we think? I could see them going well under someone like Paul McCartney if he plays.

The Hop Farm official Facebook page have wished David Bowie a happy birthday, a clue perhaps?

Bowie gets rumoured to play somewhere every year, unfortunately I can't see it ever happening... though I hope he does do a final few dates somewhere.

i agree Bowie is very unlikely, though I would love it to be so! can't really see him doing any dates again, he doesn't have anything to prove. Also, Hop Farm wish loads of people happy birthdays and do those 'this day 25 years ago' things.
I think Pulp are a good shout for next year.

Do Pulp have any plans for next year? I thought they'd been & gone again.
I think McCartney is a good shout, I also did wonder why Stevie Nicks played Hard Rock Calling last year, very close in both dates & distance to Hop Farm, but chose not to play there... considering it would be an almost perfect festival for her audience, so perhaps Fleetwood Mac?

Oh, that's great news. I saw them twice last year & they really were brilliant. Hopefully they're working on a new album then.

I'm really hoping Pulp pop up a few places this summer - I had tickets to see them at Wireless last year but sold them to go see Prince at Hop Farm instead!
