Nice spot :)

Perfume Genius cancelled last time, didn't he?

And Girls and AA Bondy are at Primavera the week before. (And not yet listed for Optimus Primavera the same weekend as NDH)

Other Lives, Low Anthem, Dirty Three, Andrew Bird. That's pretty awesome.

Great stuff - have always wanted to see Richard Hawley; lots of other new music to explore as well.  Only the weather to fix now..

I thought we already knew about most of these? Other Lives and Hawley are new, aren't they?

Overall, the lineup looks good, I'm sure not complaining :)

Counterbalanced by presence of Unthanks in PP's case, though....  :)

Lots of lovely Northern pop talent on the bill too (Yorkshire and North-East), though still struggling a bit with the Liz Green record depsite the gorgeous accent.

Turnstile records just tweeted "Lining up a wave of announcements for Thursday". So with their Gruff Rhys already on the bill, one or more of Perfume Genius, Girls, AA Bondy, Los Campesinos! (a couple of whom I saw at EOTR as punters in 2008) and Islet to be added?

Islet?  FFS.  The only band to make Holy Crutches sound good.

Anyhoo, decent line-up.  I think the expectations for NDH are amazingly high for a first-time festival because of the EOTR track record, but there's enough there to suggest it will be a good do.

I keep thinking that the NDH part of  my joint early-bird cost about £60..........I'd pay £30+ for a half-decent campsite!

Ed Zachary. I would pay £60 to see Richard Hawley and camp for 3 nights in a unique location like this. Everything else is a bonus. Especially the onsite brewery!

I was just comparing their headliners to EOTR's ... and I know which I prefer.

I hear you. And I'm with you, Fareham and Geof: it's dirt cheap and we're seeing a handful or two of really good bands :)

Have sampled the Welbeck beers and were great; real ales (albeit in plastic glasses) was one of the highlights of EOTR for me.  Also looking forward to seeing the Welbeck estate - highly regarded by Bill Bryson !

How dare you slur me!!! I am gradually getting used to them, the memory of Green Man in the rain is tainting everything.

Gutted that Oher Lives and Richard Hawley are playing and we cannot go. Could someone please persuade them to play again. I first went to EoTR because Richard Hawley was playing. I heard the new record with the Arctics and I just didn't recognise him, I think that you are in for a real treat in June.

Perfume Genius has just announced 2 nights at St Pancras Old Church (10th & 14th May) for anyone who hasn't seen him before...well worth checking out, especially in such a beautiful venue.

Hahaha nope, still not regretting it yet...got my ticket for Other Lives at Village Underground in April and seeing the Felice Brothers next month too. They're going to have to do better than that!
