Normally I go to V . . . well, I didn't this year . . . but me and the girlies really want to do something different next year as we're sick of the p*ssed up Essex boys who love themselves far too much and the girls tripping around in high-heels as if they're in a club . . . and so are contemplating IOW.

One thing that annoyes me about V though is the lack of overnight entertainment.  Are there any late night places at IOW?  Someone mentioned something about Strawberry Fields and that it closes at 2am but that there might be a music bar which goes on all night near the campsites?

Anyway . . . any info you could give me would be gratefully received!

I am also thinking of going to IOW and not V next year because of the same reasons.

I want a festival not a pretty boy, high heel youth club!

IOW pretty much nailed on as our Glasto alternative next year. We say we fancy it every year as the lineup is usually so good!

Looks like I'll be taking the ferry across to the island for next year, even if it is just for the headliners.
