i camped in campervan field me and friend, son and his 2 mates travelled down in camper and camped in field when it came to sunday went to gate to check if they packed there gear up they would be ok to come in camper and then we were setting off early in morning when traffic bit quieter x when checked earlier on 2 sep gates yeah fine as long as i walked to meet them no problem x text me at one walked and met them got through one gate fine to get to the next one who wouldnt let us in said that the day staff had not passed message on after lots of debating told me i could go get them tents sleeping bags etc am not violent but she made my blood boil she even said can u hear that its a riot ,i said very nice indeed u wont let my son and friends into camper but want them to go back into the riot x i ended up going back to camper for couple of hours and setting off at half five when we spoke to the police they laughed and said pathetic x does anyone know how can complain i know am ranting but certainly but a dampner on the weekend x when u read all these roberies i know am been petty but dont want to let it go x michelle

I wouldn't complain to be honest, i know it sucks as i was worki ng security on blue and was one of the people on the gate at one point during that night, and also putting out about 30-40 fires with gas canisters in, and reporting many many thefts, physical assults etc. The main security heads, way above us had told us to get as many people out of blue camp as possible because of the situation. Staff we're really stretched because of it. I'm trying to annoy you, just hope can see the situation from our point of view, being entrusted with the safety of everyone, n in these situations its always the innocent by standers that get injured.
Hope it didnt ruin your weekend to much.

thanks for the reply x we were in campervan field and my son and his 2 mates were in blue field had left etc all they wanted to do was go to sleep in camper having previously packing up and checking with 3 sep people during the day it was the way just felt someone was a jobsworth when i eventually got tent and there gear out of camper to give them they must have been 15 security on gate as if we were going to kick off x it did put a downer on the weekend x but thanks again for the reply i know if i complain nothing will be done but feel like was just pushed aside

the security at most festivals is laughable. you ask them a simple question an there response is all way no sorry i cant help you, no sorry i havent been told that information. im not saying what they do is easy but i mean surly they could find some people who actually care about there job.
