Most other festivals are 3+ days of live music R+L, T, IOW etc , i would personally love to see this at V, what does everyone think, is it likely to EVER happen or is it just wayyyyyyy to much to ask.

If it was to happen V would of done it by now. V will always be a two day festival

They charge near enough as much as other festivals do for 3 days so I doubt they every would, they don't need to!

I personally like the 2 Day fest. By Monday morning I was in bits, couldn't have handled another hefty day of drinking

Given it's the same price as most 3 days fests now why would they cut their profits by 50%????

They did venture a little that way in 2008 when they opened up on Thursday for the campsite and indie disco but hardly anyone bothered going so it got scrapped after that.

Couldn't think of anything worse.

One thing I love about V is that fact that it is two days. I find Oxegen and other festivals a little bit long. On the 3rd day of music I generally just want to get back home to bed. Never stay the last night because everybody is just so tired and drunk that crazy stuff starts happening.
I am quite happy to pay that little bit extra and lose a days music. I love V's style. A load of pop acts that most people are little bit embarresed to admit they like with some rock headliners.

at the moment its £185 for 2day fest which is just like £10-15 less than the main 3 day festies - they won't even bother going for 3days as they are raking it in on a 2day fest
Next year is so going to be wiped out of indie can guarentee as the crowds the pop/RnB bands pulled were scary - I could not believe the crowd Jessie J pulled at Stafford she literaly filled the field!
