Did anyone else get their tent looted and money stolen whilst they were asleep on red camp?
Having done 5 V's before this one, with no problems I can't believe we got done this time.
It was a shock.
The scumbags stole over £300 from our 2 tents (from 3 people) whilst we slept!
I know I should know better but I had put my wallet, phone and camera by my head, and thought I would hear someone open the 2 layers to get into the tent!
Am amazed they left my iphone, beer tokens, camera and cash card alone.
Would have been devestated, but I guess they take cash as it's not easily traceable.
Still, at least the police have charged a man they believe did it, but not got our money back :-(
A lesson to be learned that it can happen to you, and I will be better prepared, if I go again.

They actually took the cash from your wallet even though it was up at your head!?  That's actually quite scary...

We were in Silver and never heard of any problems, probably due to it being one of the quieter campsites.

Hope you still managed to have a good V despite what happened!

they hit green on sunday night as a few tnts had been rumaged through including ours, thankfully I had everything worth stealing on my and apart from stuff been looked through nothing was taken....
few tents behind us and near T5 had been hit not sure what was taken though - there's no need to be honest thieving t**ts

Theiving bastards, it is unbelivable. We were on gold by T14 so was no issues on our side

My mate got her bag robbed in Orange on the first night whilst she was sleeping, scum! They where camped about 20 yards away from us and had done 8 other tents that night. Police arrested them Saturday morning after a large amount of drugs was found in one of there tents

was definately a more chavy crowd this year not as friendly as has been in previous years x oh maybe just didnt talk to you xx

After going to V for the past 12 years....this year is most definately my last, whole atmosphere has changed. Too many drunk teenagers. I was disgusted too see when waiting for Chase and Status a young lad with his hood up and face covered like he was some sort of gangster/ rioter. Spoilt by the younger generation!  Also on the way back too our car we got lost for over an hour and quite freely walked through all the campsites, no wonder they got things stolen from them.

Went to the last 10 but gave this year a miss as lineup was not great and also figured it would be full of knobs by the way the type of goer has been going steadily downhill over the last 3 years or so. I might return next year but only if they have a killer lineup, if not i'll be looking at IOW or Hop Farm instead.

I hate that people pay all that money to go and then steal to refund themselves.. They are lowlifes. I am really hoping I lost my camera rather than it being taken from my bag. I was watching Eminem and went to get it out my bag. Im susupicious as my bag was open and my camera wasn't in there.. Really hoping someone gets in touch saying they found it lol.. Hope you managed to have a good weekend despite that though
