A friend who has owed me over £500 for a number of years now has finally come into some money and implied (note that word!) today that he would pay me back. I'd written it off so the thought of getting it has made me happy. It'll seem like free cash. Trouble is he intends to give it to me when I meet up with him at the Cheltenham races in March. I could lose it all by the end of the day!

Have just finished work and am off to the Far East on holiday for two weeks tomorrow. Have just received a text confirming that we have been given a free upgrade to Business Class for the flight over. That means I can go to sleep lying down during the 13 hour flight. That has definitely made my day.

last day of work yesterday as now on maternity leave!! Even better (and has made my year so far) was getting a note from Mr Eavis mailed to me wishing me the best from himself and Glastonbury Festival! yes I did get a bit tearful (happiness of course - I love Glastonbury
