JC-Mo, on 14 August 2011 - 10:49 PM, said:Aye that PULP day is pretty awesome,Its beyond belief to me that anyone would consider buying a ticket for that day. The choice between my chemical romance and beady eye makes the reading campsite seem like a safety zone.
If Glasto had madness, the national, pulp and the strokes all on one day - I would probably be hailing it one of the best days the pyramid has seen. Hence im scrounging around for a ticket on the cheap!
Spindles, on 15 August 2011 - 06:39 AM, said:I was considering but don't really have the money and much like you the friday was the deciding factor in not being worth it. (Muse is okish and OoS in full is something I want to see but ..ah i dunno, maybe I will a comp or get a cheap ticketReally? bleh. I had considered going, but the friday is just so crap I decided against it in the end, couldn't justify the cost just for 2 days worth of lineup.
They announced reading as being sold out about 3 weeks ago, bit of a crafty move to call it sold out when they still had tickets to sell, don't you think?
).
But yes it does seem bit of trying drum up demand by claiming a sell out and magically finding some tickets, two weeks latter.

Im not sure if T in the Park sold out. The website said it was, and no more extra tickets were announced, but apparently there were still tickets available on ticketmaster apparently. They may have shot them selves in the foot cos i know plenty of people after ticket but thought it was sold out.
