Seeing that bogus (yet brilliant) poster for Sonisphere has wet my appetite for the best live band in the world.

I don't know if the poster is just a guess or there are rumours about rage playing but it would be ideal for them having never played there before and would pick up a considerable pay cheque (or check) which is only reason they do it really but nothing wrong with that.

someone made that poster themselves, only one i think are rumoured is the RHCP...

doubt rage will be doing anything soon as they aren't looking to make a new album & they are busy with their sideprojects by the looks of it...

They don't need new material to play festivals. They all managed to do their own massive stadium gig in LA recently so hopefully the lure of a million+ for every show will entice them to pop over to Europe for a few dates.

They were awsome at Download last year and would be perfect for Soni. I'm pretty line up dependent so if Soni booked Rage I would probably sack off Doownload again next year. You get the feeling that some people will go to Download whatever but Soni needs the stellar line up to get the tickets sold so I expect another strong line up next year.

I thought they were shite at leeds. WAAAAAYYY too quiet.

Also Metallica were awesome some they were always fighting a losing battle!

They weren't too quiet at Download last year!! Bad sound system at Leeds

They were too quiet at The Rage Factor too - that's local sound restrictions for you!     But if they played Sonisphere we'd wanna be there!

The sound was pretty poor at Leeds, but they were still fecking brilliant! Worst of the times I've seen them, Rage Factor seemed pretty loud to me and Download was just perfect, outshone AC/DC and Aerosmith for me. Will deffo be at Soni if they're there!
