A sixth sense tells me she doesn't want to appear on Youtube, for minor misdemeanours.

When my husband goes away on "lads' weekends" I know what he gets up to cos he tells me and I don't mind, because some of the other guys get up to much much worse!
I would be more pissed off if my husband shagged someone else than dropped a few pills, if I'm honest
Anyway what has going to (not not going to) Glastonbury got to do with it? surely one could drop pills/smoke dope/drink like a fish/other where-ever they go?
And how childish of your so called "mate" who wasn't even there!

People don't 'maintain their original personalities' - they beat their wives, they crash their cars, they climb up scaffolding, they get into fights, they get off with strangers, and do things they generally regret. Or they just have a merry old time and repeat themselves a lot, or at worst knock over someones drink. This is just my opinion based on my personal experiances and I'm not trying to push it on anyone, not saying it's fact, it's just how I percieve it, and I really hope people respect that and don't question it, because I can't justify it any further than this:
Purely based on the people I know: When they drink, they maintain their original personalities, with a little more confidence. When they start taking other things, they completely change. I find they become completely unreconisable, some may say for the positive as everything becomes "amazing", but it means baseless chats, repetition, and nothing really makes sense to someone whose not on "their level".
I'm not saying that's the case for everyone at all, but I personally see a difference between alcohol and other drugs. Though again, I don't judge, obviously as I'm the only one of my friends who stays off the stuff!
My point is that alcohol is a pretty profound drug. You probably recognise more of your friends drunken journey that their munted one because you understand the boundaries of it from your own experiences. But make no mistake, the same thing is happening - you are imbibing a mind-altering substance in order to enter an alterd state of perception. Fun (though not without its dangers).

Fair enough. This has been discussed to death already but I have to agree with previous posters, alcohol for me alters personalities as much as anything. Many of alcohol side effects are much more negative.

Sheesh, i reckon women are like google when it comes to remembering stuff you'd sooner they forget. It's ages until June 2013 & women aren't very clever... just distract her with a new pair of shoes & she won't ever remember banning you.

They have a memory capacity greater than that of an elephant and even want to know - altogether now - "What you thinking?" And you can't say "nothing" as an answer because that's not acceptable because "nobody can be thinking nothing". Even though it's perfectly true.

I'd slip a couple of pills in her tea, if she gets even more angry afterwards then split up, if she loves it then you, her and a bag of pills will be coming to 2013
There is no way I'd go out with a girl who wouldnt enjoy Glastonbury, to me is the most special 5 days of the year, I certainly would enjoy it more with a partner that loves it too.
