I've had a nightmare this week, after going to every Glastonbury since 1992 I've been told in no uncertain terms by my wife that this year was the last time I am ever going to be allowed to go again.

I've always gone with the same 5 or 6 mates, and always managed to pursuade the misses that it's all good clean fun...getting drunk and the occasional smoke. But now one of my "so called mates" (who's never been) bascially grassed me up to her and told her I had done a couple of pills at Glastonbury. So she's really pissed at me......not so much for taking the pills, but for lying to her when I got back saying I had only smoked weed.

It's basically given her the excuse to stop me going anymore...........not great!

so enjoy 2013 for me.......BAZZA!

Any relationship that disagrees on such day to day issues is not going to last and quite frankly I can't understand why you're in such a relationship anyway. Oh for gods sake. You've got all your answers here. Tell her your mate lied, that you did them in the 90's and didn't like them. Then say you suspect that the mate only told her because he wants to get in her pants. If you can steer things down that path you have won.

If she has ever said that your mate was a shit in the past use it. He wasn't shy to rat you out. Truly a bad violation of the what happens in Glastonbury stays in Glastonbury rule.
