Barenaked Ladies- 100-150K. Bet they didn't get that for their Avalon set.

I doubt that BNL got that much there as well.

However, a friend of mine does occasionally book name bands for his company events (dealer meetings and such) (Cheap Trick, Kid Rock, The Doobie Brothers to name a few).

He tried booking Barenaked Ladies about five years ago and was told that their price for a corporate gig was $500,000....obviously he didn't book them.

Plan B probably doesn't cost much in the states.

Foo Fighters 300K+, Eels 10K. That is a depressing statistic.

The genre for this is given as "comedians". I wonder how many people turn up under the wrong impression and get cross?

I know a few years ago that the smallest bands playing the JP Stage were being paid at least £500 (which was more than they might expect elsewhere), while the Pyramid headliners weren't being paid more than £200k (which was far less than they might expect elsewhere)

As a rough guide, I'd say that bands of mid-popularity to major popularity are being paid around 10% to 25% of their normal fee when playing Glastonbury.
