That was my 10th glasto and one of my favourites.  A big thank you to everyone that made it possible including those that cleaned the toilets, sorted the litter and shovelled wood chippings and straw whilst I snoozed to soak up the lakes.

It was very well run this year - security were friendly and helpful, the campsite stewards were legends and in general the punters were great fun (if a bit messy  )!

It still keeps surprising and entertaining me and I'm going until the body won't let me anymore!

Cheers to all concerned - I know it takes more than just the Eavis family - well done all of you!

Agreed, they all do a good job. Although I have to say, it was my 6th Glasto and I thought the organisation this year had gone downhill from previous muddy years. I was in the queue from hell going into gate D, which took 6 hours to get in (I have never experience this before at Glasto even in the mud) and the campsite crew around the Park stage appeared to just be there for a free ticket. They had no concept of where anything was and were not helpful at all. I dont really think any of this was due to the mud, just think they have gotten a tad complacent and assume people will just put up with it because its Glasto. This is nothing to do with the organisation, but I did notice a change in audience this year, it attracted huge gangs of 'kids' (well they are kids compared to me!!) who just seemed to be there for the sole purpose of getting wasted and didnt really seem to care about the music or anyone around them. A shame really, thats not why I started going to Glasto :-(

Hear, hear! We may highlight areas we believe could be improved from time to time, but 99.9% of the festival is exceptionally well run and organised. Long may it reign as the Mother of all festivals.

Thanks to everyone who worked on the festival.

I know there looks to be a lot of critical threads, but it is only because we care about the festival and want to make it even better.

See you in 2013

Thinking about it, thats exactly why I started going to Glasto! It's only now I've got older that I actually see and do stuff! I look at the kids sitting round their tents all day and think "You'll learn!". It's easy for me to think that I have a much better time now, but I know I had just as good a time back then, it was just different.

To be fair - I always loved the people around us, but whilst I don't think I was untidy, I can't remember being actively responsible about my rubbish and belongings either back in those days. I honestly don't know if I was a responsible festival goer or not when I was young, I did just enjoy getting trashed with my mates and catching a few bands (and I mean "a few")

Anyway - yes - Thank you to everyone at Worthy farm for a great festival - especially the toilet cleaners - i honestly don't know how those guys do it!
