I don't think I'd have minded if I'd gone to Primal Scream instead of U2, because that looked like a stormer! But figured at the time, I'm never in my life paying money to go to a U2 gig, so why not

Also would have liked to have seen Friendly Fires but no regrets considering I was at Pulp instead :D Seeing Friendly Fires in August instead now :)

Really not seen any other highlights other than Coldplay which I watched over tonight, and to be honest, the combo of Chemical Brothers and Lee Scratch Perry which I did on Saturday night satisfied me enough :)

Just getting around to watching the highlights now on sky+, been away since straight after the festival.

Really raging I didn't go to Primal Scream, we could hear the very end if their set on our way back to the tent after leaving U2 early, and it sounded brilliant, watching it on TV it looked wicked. I had intended to go to Brit Floyd on the friday so I could get into the late night area before the queues, but after the rain all day and over-doing it Thursday night, we decided to check out U2 and go to bed early.

Was expecting a lot more from them tbh.

Also, Warpaint looked really good in the bit they showed on the BBC, don't really know a lot about them but had them on our list but just didn't get around to seeing them.

I saw everything I wanted to, saw some great gigs, I think that maybe 2 or 3 acts were on the 'it would be nice if I could' list, but all went well.  I cut out of radiohead at the perfect moment to make it to where I wanted to be as mumfords came on, grabbed some food and finished off with the primals.

On the saturday I took the easy option with Elbow and Coldplay, my son went to Friendly fires, was at the front and still managed to make it to us less than 1/3 of the way through elbow, so it can be done if you are determined and mobile.

I'd have liked to have seen more of paul simon than I did, but the shower was a great pay off.  Similarly timing issues meant that I only arrived at B.A.D as they were playing v13 (my favourite song) and missed most of their set.

Friends have a band who play a few slots over the course of the week at various stages in and around the greenfields (from mandala to the bandstand) and I managed to arrive randomly in time for their last performance of the week mid-afternoon saturday, whilst pleasantly chilled :)
