All I can find on the net about is that its a Online celebration of the 20 year anniversary. Don't think there's an actual event happening

From what I can tell on the (limited) information on the internet, it is just a reminiscing session for people who went?

I saw the signs for this. Living about 3 miles from Castlemorton, I may descend upon it. Malvern Hills Council & Conservators are going to love you lot!

I was there in '92 in my 11m red bedford removals lorry (clearly visible in all the ariel photos. Was about the 15th vehicle to pull on. Was also involved in trying to make it happen the following year. Ended up getting arrested on the Sat of bank holiday w/e for blocking the M5 in protest. Relased then reblocked it on the Sun. Festi didn't happen.
In 2002 on the 10th anniversary of the festi the local old bill set up a temporary police station on the common. Nobody turned up. Would be amazed if it were to happen again.

I can remember the red but am fairly sure I never saw gold. I suppose you remember the liquid stuff (of the same ilk) in clear plastic? Ye gads that product was something else!

Would you believe - I can't actually remember. Going to go to another room to get a calculator to try and help out. Right, I'm back. The nearest I can get to is the early 80's. The red by the way, refers to how some dope was sold. If memory serves me correct it was Lebanese that was brought into the country in red plastic (presumably to hide the smell etc). When you got some it always had this red plastic that you had to pull off before heating and crumbling. Once or twice (it's actually twice) I bought some dope that smelled of diesel. It's when they had imported it in the fuel tank and it had dropped into the fuel itself. Horrible stuff (don't get involved with the high carbon octanes!). Not sure if that makes it any clearer for you or not.
