was the beat hotel not the place you walk through, take your wellies off, go through a cupboard like door and theres a load of women dancing around on beds?

I think that was in Shangri La, I remember because we went in, saw a bed and told our drunk mate to lie down for a bit before realising we had to take our wellies off to go further when would've been a pain in the arse (mine took around 10 minutes every night to take off 'cause they were tight!) and left.

Beat Hotel was a walk down from the Pyramid Stage, right on the corner and if you turned left it would've take you towards the Other Stage and places like that (I think)

Cocktails had too much ice admittedly but they had San Miguel on tap so I can't complain, really nice, chileld out place. Plus when they played Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac on the Sunday there was a great singalong vibe to go with the perfect weather!

there was a wardrobe to the far left of the stage, next to the bar, that you could go through, but i never went in. Anybody else?

Worst experience of the festival. Waited around at the bar whilst bar steward consecutively juggled five paper cups around his waist and consecutively dropped all five of them. After being told he was waisting them by another member of staff he then served five people in front of me, when they had all gone and there was actually nobody left at that end of the bar looked directly at me and announced he was going in the back to get some change.

Loved it there, Erol and Skream were both fantastic, but the best thing about it was the burgers. Some of the best I've ever had.

Did anybody take a picture of the Beat Hotel sign?

I didn't take my camera, and didn't miss it at any point of the festival, but just WISH I had made someone take a picture of the sign at night...I love that American-style design...did anyone here have the foresight to do so???

WTF??? It stayed open till 3.30 am every night. Very loud. I know, I always camp on the small field opposite that area ( We used to have the Guardian Lounge there, last year it was the karaoke place ) Cocktails overpriced and watery, more ice than actual drink.

Yes but this is Glastonbury, we should be able to party all night.

Oh, I agree, I was merely responding to someone who intimated it didn't stay open late!

Erol was great on Friday night. I had been talking to Mandy most of the night so was a little of my tits, in fact was counting rain drops on tent at one point!

We went on Thursday for an extended session of zero 7, Clancy and filthy dukes. Great venue but not as rockin as some in the south east corner such as Sharkeys. They had fat boy slim and Carl cox FFS!

Better burgers though- I smashed a dead hippy into my face on Sunday and it was my best ever burger which believe me, takes some doin!
