I felt horrid from the night before, it was pissing down for parts of their set but I absolutely f**king loved it. Particular highlights:

-Quality turn out
-Meth really gave it his all
-I liked how they were pretty much messing about on stage, dancing and rapping enjoying it all properly
-Was front and middle with all my mates who were all into it

Think the crowd away from the front was probably quite s**t, but I wanted to see real hip-hop and that I got.

I really enjoyed it & the majority of the crowd seemed to eat it up... the sound was f**king shite though... couldn't make out most of the lyrics and the instrumentation which more often then not led me to not realize they were playing one of my favorite cuts until a good 2 minutes in! Not the Wu's fault, thought they gave it their all.

Raekwon and Inspectah Deck weren't there. Thought they seemed pretty pissed off with the reaction that they got for the crowd but what did they expect, the majority of the audience at glastonbury aren't hip-hop fans and they played at 3 in the afternoon it would ahve been different if they headlined the west holts for example.

yeah I didn't think RZA would keep on his word and turn up - worded that about quality turn out badly.

I did for a second think they'd cut it short as Meth got a bit pissy at one point.

Yeah, sound was a bit mad. Meth proper loved it, crowd surfing n that. Rza's sunnies were well cute. To conclude, only bettered by pulp.

Amongst others, Ghostface looked pretty pissed off to begin with, but Meth carried the show (I think when he crowdsurfed that was a turning point) and by the end it had picked up and the infamous, interlocking Wu chemistry was there for all to see.

Fact of the matter is that the Clan have never been that big in the UK, certainly not USA levels at least. Gravel Pit has been far and away the biggest hit they've had over here, though ODB's solo cuts got some top 20 chart placings too. The majority of the crowd were curious rather than devoted and once the group clocked it properly they adjusted and started to dance around and enjoy it loads more.

I'm a pretty big fan but I was way back cos of a massive hold-up getting through. There were pockets of devotees but mostly people were there out of intrigue. Still, they probably converted thousands once they got the energy flowing.

Sound was an issue, but apart from that only one other gripe: where the hell was Protect Ya Neck?!

i had a decent spot and was stood alongside a group of very enthusiastic Australians (hello Kirby from Melbourne if you're reading) who had spent a lot of time and money getting to Pilton.

at first we were the only ones having it, but i like to think it was us who got those around us a bit more involved (got some funny looks at first rapping along to Aint Nuthin to F*ck Wit, badly, admittedly), cos as the set went on our little area of that field was a proper party.

i thought the group were good once they cottoned on there were more neutrals than hardcore fans in attendance, and as said above after Meth got in the crowd, they got their flow on and pulled it off.

RZA's shades and Meth's robe were two of my highlights, even without the music!

great fun.

WU TANG CLAN AINT NUTTIN TO FCUK WITH!

They were pretty awesome although I thought the bass was way too high for some parts which actually made it harder to hear them rapping, my entire ribcage was vibrating

Really enjoyed it.  Crowd didn't quite realise what they were witnessing.  Meth took it by the scruff of the neck and tore it up.  The sound mix was truly bizarre (sound man obviously taking the pump the bass instructions over-literally!  ).  Fun.

I saw them the week before in Edinburgh and the sound mix was atrocious there as well.  Maybe they need to have a word with their sound engineer.

Incredible.

However the bass nearly gave me tinnitus. Which is either very good or otherwise :)

This comment right here sums up the atmosphere and response to the group more than anything I could ever say.

Yeah I'm fascinated to know what they thought after hearing Rza/Method Man questioning whether it was the biggest festival in the world
