Did the Tubular Bells performance happen?

I left my mates to go to the Spirit of 71 stage on Friday night to watch the Tubular Bells performance. Arrived just in time at 12.20 (was due to start at 12.25). Stood in the rain for 30 minutes before they announced that a band member was stuck in the mud and they would start when he arrived. At 1.20 someone said he would be here in 10 minutes and they would start then. By this point I was cold, out of booze and wet through, so I begrudgingly left.
What I want to know was: Did it happen? I thought the stage curfew was 1am, so how were they able to continue if it did? And was it any good?

yep it happened and it was good. Not good was the late start , waiting in the rain. But loved it when it got going

I was there for a fecking hour waiting for nothing to happen, I left not long after the announcement. That wait in the Mizzle broke me and I was in bed by 3am.
Fairly gutted to have this happen I have to say.

I really wanted to see it, but it was ridiculously late on and the kids wouldn't of managed it

It was an hour late due to one to the artists (can't remember who) being late. They were apparently on site in time from a previous performance but got held up getting their Land Rover through the mud and crowds. They'd have been better off getting out and walking.
