gooner1990
I agree what you mean by the addition of more 'rock' acts being there, although QOTSA do nothing for me, nor do Deftones or rage
howlin_pete
I suspect download n Sonisphere would have any out if biffy, jimmy eat world, pendulum, qotsa and maybe even flogging Molly. Think the heavier rock side is being represented better in recent years

alframsey
Daft Punk, Arcade Fire, Sigur Ros Now that would be sublime. Obviously Sigur Ros wouldn't be big enough, but I'd love eavis to take a risk like that, it would be amazing.
happinessisawarmgun
Bjork has a new one out this year, might be up for it in 2013 after a years touring. I doubt Radiohead , they will have been touring TKOL during 2012 and will not doubt be on another break. I think possibly Elbow might be due a shout. A lot can happen in two years. wolfticket
Wouldn't shock me if Janelle Monáe was headlining in 2 years. She would have aced it this year, but clearly isn't big enough yet. I hope she will (and certainly deserves to) be huge pretty soon though.
Flange Basket
Radiohead and Bowie are hotly tipped. Arcade Fire would be a great shout. Mike wants the Rolling Stones at some point and given his age, and their age, the sooner the better (though I avoid dad rock headliners myself, legend or not, put your feet up and retire). Just some thoughts on some other suggestions Gaga - hell no, please don't ever do this. She's crap. Popular, but crap. Plus, if you're going to throw a curve ball headliner, perhaps mix it up a bit, we've had hip hop and pop, we don't need pop again. Elbow - probably going to headline sometime but 2013 might be too soon for them to get a new record out and I reckon it would be tied into that. Biffy are the other I think could get themselves to headliner status. Daft Punk - overdue but I'd suspect more Other Stage level these days, particularly with their annual big dance act on there. I think Chase & Status are the dance act coming through that might fill this spot one day, maybe not by 2013. Bjork - was great in 2007 and perhaps keep an eye on her headline set at Bestival this year to see if she does a good enough audition. Foo fighters - not many other current bands that size that haven't done it. Janelle Monae might make Other Stage headliner in 2013 if she bangs out another big album, I'd certainly expect she'll get an invite back. the_arsonist
arcade fire/radiohead/foo fighters would be awesome
oli1234
Arcade Fire Radiohead David Bowie I can also see Florence and Mumford and Sons each doing a headline slot on The Other Stage. My main wish is for Daft Punk to listen to their fans....if they were to headline the pyramid stage I think it would go down as one of the classic Glastonbury sets
redmosquito
Foo Fighters be great I think, the one thing Glastonbury lacks is great rock music!
crapfrenchcars
How about a woman who has played less than the 30 gigs ever, the last being in 1979 to headline?! The woman is Kate Bush and she recently said she has not ruled out playing live again before she is too ancient. She certainly has the back catalogue and if she were too play would surely have to headline. I'd guess this maybe the most unlikely of all the suggestions but you never know! JC-Mo'Fucka
Foo fighters should headline. Grohl spat beer on me y'day. It was awesome.
Josie's Cat
It could be The Cast From Glee Jay Z played, then his missus did. Chris Martin plays - I reckon Gwyneth is in with a shout.

The Nal
Glastonbury needs to move away from the pure pop in 2013 imo. Get in Tom Waits for Sunday, he could headline anywhere but the West Holts would be best. Anyone know if hes ever played? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmbgszK1mqE

The Nal
Think Waits is on record somewhere saying he does not like festivals and would never play them........Also he charges a fortune when he plays! CaledonianGonzo
I think that when Waits plays these days there's a strictly-enforced 'no phones or cameras' policy. Hard to pull that off anywhere other than in a small theatre, really.

Douzeper
David Bowie in 2000 was the single greatest thing in existence. Yes please again in 2013. Can't see it though.
