I've been offered a  couple of guest tickets but I'm not sure how they work or if I'm being scammed. Any help greatly appreciated! Cheers.

Guest tickets don't have photos on and instead of being given a wristband on the gate you exchange the ticket for wristbands at the production office of whichever stage/area the guest ticket is for. The stewards on the gate shouldn't tear your ticket, keep it whole til you get to the production office.

You don't usually have to show ID, maybe, depends on where the ticket is for...

depending on what wristband you have should also give access to the hospitality area where there's a bar and slightly better toilets but it's not that exciting really, unless you like watching people who work for record companies/media etc huddled together for safety. there's a whole festival out there folks! though you can use the cut through to get to the pyramid stage from other stage without going the long way round, if you like that kind of thing.

hope that helps

Thanks metta23.  Don't suppose anyone knows if there are fake tickets hanging around? The fella seems a bit dicey, can't meet me in person and wants payment straight into bank acc.

If you can't meet him, how are you going to get the tickets?  I'd be very wary if I were you.

No matter how desperate you might be ... you just know that isn't a good idea don't you   There's only one thing worse than not being at Glasto and that's still not being Glasto despite paying a significant amount of do$h for potentially dodgy or non-existent tix ! Be *very* careful and all that.

He's sent me a pic and they look real enough, but then again I've never seen a guest ticket so who knows.  I'll keep on trucking methinks. Thanks people. Hope those of you at Glasto are having a cracking time.
Cheers
