Given the aggitated nature of my post (I am soooooooooo wishing this day away - Just a Maths lesson and Sex Ed. to go then I'm on the road) I wasn't expecting such a reasoned and considerate response.  Thank you - my faith in humanity and the importance of tolerable arguments is restored!  Green plus point for you!  Now cheer up!  It's blooming Glastonbury! ;)

Fitting that your last lesson before Glastonbury is Sex Education. Make sure you pay special attention  :D

Was at the gales of 04, the flash flood of 05 and the horror that was 07. This year looks the worst by a mile in areas of heavy traffic but the stages could be fine if the rain stays away for the rest of the festival. What upsets me the most is the common/unfairground is totally ruined! Must be from all the tractors/jcbs from the set up. Most of the 'beautiful' stuff ain't that beautiful but nothing a set of cider tinted spectacles cannot sort :)

Given that I'm the teacher there's no hope!  I have made it very clear that I'm not mature enough (nor ever will be) to teach 10 and 11 year olds about their bits and births and stuff but it's part of the job so I have to do it!

If it helps the current weather conditions in Glastonbury [town] are sunny and windy.

Definately a wellies glasto - deep water in some places so boots not that helpful. Not too bad really just slow extra time to get round and as of 1.45 the sun is out so mud will be gone soon!

just back from site and it is deffo muddy but drying.  Areas are liquid mud which is better than the sticky stuff in many places.  Rapidly improving and will get better with time. Don't expect 2010 hard and dusty, will only get to sticky in places and crap in others.  Beutiful sun all afternoon and there are pink people all over the platz.  Not 2007 and not 2010 but still Glasto and who cares about a bit of mud.
