Well, it's got to this stage, and now I'm pretty gutted I'm not heading down to Glastonbury this year due to taking a pretty lucrative booking for Saturday. First year off I've had in a good while, and I'll be honest, I'm jealous as hell.

Anyways, just wanted to say, have a blast people. If you could each have an extra hot and spicy cider for me, that would be grand. If I see anyone on the telly coverage looking miserable for any reason (including but not limited to rain, mud, sunburn, running out of beer, not getting laid, missing their fave act or being forced to endure U2*) I will personally hunt them down with a spoon and an iron will to do grievous harm upon their return to civilisation. You're off to the best place in the world people, so make sure you enjoy it for those of us not joining you.

See you all in 2013! It's already in my diary.

*Yeah ok, if someone forces you to watch U2, I'll let you off for looking miserable!

I'll definitely be there, sometimes on stilts, sometimes in a portaloo, sometimes fighting badgers, sometimes naked, sometimes shagging, always drunk.
