I've been to various festivals in the past, but never one of such huge scale as Glastonbury. How long should I expect to queue to get into the festival if I was to arrive on Tuesday night by car, and get in the queue at around 8am on Wednesday morning?

Cheers

Depends. Every year we get there at around 7-8am and are usually in by 9am. Last night we got there on Tuesday night, started queuing at 6am and got in at 2pm. It was an utter disaster!

+ 1, although we got into the carpark for 9am (after sitting outside in traffic for an hour) and got in at 2pm. And it was hot, very hot! But they gave us water, which was cool  B)

Peace x

Ususally arrive 7am ish, bit of queuing in traffic for maybe an hour. Get out, stretch legs and unload car (about 15 mins say) trek from which ever car park you are in (has varied from 10 mins - 25 mins) then queued probably for an average of about 1hr 30mins. Had a few where we've waited for hours and some where we have literally walked down the hill of death and pretty much in after like 10-20 mins queuing.

Best advice I can give is to not even think about it at all. What will be will be. Every one wants to get in and get a good spot or find their mates etc but the vibe is quite relaxed and it works.

Have a nice Glasto
