Rabid & I decided last year not to go this year. Tbh, reading all the threads with folk fretting over clashes & the weather & where to camp etc I'm breathing quite a sigh of relief. And everything's getting soooo organised it seems to go against every Glasto grain there is. It's all too much hassle for us simple things!

I hope everyone has fun however they decide to do it, with whomever & having necked whatever.

Have a Hot & Spicey for us, make sure there are enough fairy lights around Camp Triangle to do us both proud. We'll have a few in Amsterdam for you

Hey, nothing wrong with getting organised. I'm sure you can understand than if a m*ddy one is imminent you kind of have to be, else you're screwed.

Getting organised is part of the fun for me. Builds up the excitement seeing my bag that little bit bigger once I've a few items or called my friends to discuss meeting up.

It's the getting there & then becoming unorganised that's the most fun though.

Oh I'm not talking about getting organised to go, I'm the first to write a list & to make sure we have at least one of everything!

It just seems there are so many Meets, fancy dressings, & hi-viz clipboards knocking around these days, that it all just seems like a whole heap of hard work! Camp Triangle almost looks like becoming a victim of it's own success too.

Me, I'll be pulling up a seat in a nice little Coffeeshop with Rabid & a few other defectors......

It's funny, I was only thinking earlier that there are less meets planned this year than there were last year. I think folk don't bother, as its hard for others to stick to arranged plans once they arrive on site.
I think the Wednesday evening is a winner, but after that who knows where you're likely to end up!

I'm organized up to the point I unpack, I think thats the way to do it if I'm honest... otherwise you could be shooting yourself in the foot and sabotaging your enjoyment!

I'm not actually bringing one this year. Just a nice plastic file in which to keep the labels dry (and use as a clipboard...although I DO have 3 different coloured pens!!!)

I dont think there's too much over organisation this year. Less meets for certain. CT is an evolving entity that self manages and changes/develops into something different year on year but still has its core of regulars. Wednesday is the big winner, everything else is a lovely bonus and its nice that certain members of this forum are proactive in wanting to help people have the chance to get together, meet up and do fun things.
