I actually find I have more fun each time I go because I get to know the site better and better

It makes it a bit more special this, coz I had a ticket to go in 09 but I was made redundant from my job at the time so couldnt afford the ticket. Couldnt afford last year either becuase of the same situation, so its been a whole 2 yearsbuild up to Glasto 11 for me.

I agree with the comments above. Glastonbury is amazing the first time, and for some reason its the only thing i know that gets better the more you go. Have fun!

AWESOME!

You will be blown, when nightfall hits on Wednesday you will have your mind blown when everything lights up and all these unscheduled activites start and are nothing what you expected....

You will be blown away again on Thursday when the night areas open up properly, a walk threw Arcadia and Shangri-la during the day are pretty good but wont set you up for them come night time.... at all

You will be blown away again on Friday once the festival is in full swing, the almost too much to do, you will be planning on seeing so much and you will do... just not exactly what you hoped to see and it will be all the better for it

This. My first time was in 2005 and after the glorious sunshine on the Weds/Thurs, wandering around like a blissed out hippy in my new found utopia... I proceeded to spend the next couple of days in total shock at the state of the place after the storm and flood.  It's a bit of a miracle I ever went back after that year, as I literally experienced Glasto heaven and hell all in the space of 5 days!  

However, despite minging weather in 07 again, I have fallen more and more in love with the place each time I go.  Looking forward to this year... and lots of amazing adventures and experiences
