I was looking through some Glastonbury clips on youtube and this brought back so many brilliant memories! Even though I enjoyed Bruce more this was probably my favourite memory of the weekend! Wonder what this years will be, all I know is it will be hard pushed to live up to this!

Thanks for that. That was the best set I had ever seen. I do not think I will see a better one.

I rewatched most of the set a few weeks back. Still absolutely brilliant, if not better than I remember.
Best exit I've seen too. Very few acts can give the audience a sense of immense enjoyment, bewilderment and hilarity all in one go.

Agreed.
Wanted to see ny for 35 years before that - he wa my last "must see" really.
I'm now 45, so I reckon another 15 years of gigs for someone to be so bloody good.... can't imagine who it will be.
Unless Rory Gallagher rises from the dead and plays his Blueprint/jinx and Stagestruck albums all the way through on the pyramid stage, I just can't see me ever topping that set for sheer quality.

I think '09 was my favourite for bands, I missed Neil Young but Bloc Party were by far the best I've seen them that night,
and of course there was THAT sunday night headline act who will stay with me until my dying days as one of the greatest nights of my life

Loved the set but why did he piss on with rocking in the free world and not do don't let it bring you down?
