May have been mentioned before but no harm in re posting. Just getting myself organized, doing a final shopping list/washing etc and checked on my tickets, decided to take a photo off my ticket on my camera and phone. If you were to you lose either and someone finds it hands it in they have your name and address. Could also take a snap of your phone number (some nice folk out there might get in touch) Might also come in handy if you were to lose your ticket as the picture would have all the necessary details on to maybe blag another ticket/pass. Just a thought

Remember to bring your face. They have that on your tickets as well

oh, and if taking little ones, take a pic each morning of them as you leave the tent... that way if they get lost you've got an exact description of them

+1 to all of the above. I was going to set my phone wallpaper to my name, address and kids' phone numbers and the first thing I do once set up is drop my stuff off at the lockups, I like the idea of taking a photo of the lockup ticket
Be safe, don't have money on you than you can afford to lose, don't leave valuables lying around your tent whether asleep or away from your tent, thievery happens at festivals but the vast majority of us will not experience a problem, it only exists at festivals because we have a habit of making ourselves easy targets.

Although if you do lose the slip and you haven't taken a photo you can still quote your postcode to get your stuff back as they take a note of it when you drop your stuff off.also, if you put anything in the lockups take a picture of the slip they give you

And take a picture of your tent in case you forget what it looks like.........
And maybe you should take a picture of your phone in case you lose it........

excellent idea- last year i put some stuff in the lockup..ticket stub and id etc got a slip, sure enough i lost the slip that night somehow
along with my cap/sunglasses and breaking my camera - luckily my mate was behind me and in same queue so my number was 1 in front of his
then they gave me a permanent marker to write it on my arm
