In 2013. - we should set up an advent type calendar for Glastonbury for the month of June to build up the excitement on a daily basis during June. But what pictures would be behind each door and would it stop when the gates open or on the Friday when the music starts?
Some thoughts:
1 June - weather map
2 June - fine guide
3 June- site in current state of readiness
10 June - picture of Brothers Tent
12 June - picture of the Pyramid with skin on
15 June - mud people
18 June - picture of people phoning DX for tickets!
Hell - we could even charge a pound for access to the calendar and give the proceeds to a Glasto charity.

Great idea - I'd buy one and a great idea to donate profits to charity....
A few options I think:
1. You could have various 'moments' from glastonbury over the years..David Bowie, Blur, Melanie, The SMiths etc
2. Or you could have pictures of it getting built, for example, people painting bins, skin of Pyramid going on..
3. OR you could have a picture from each year that it has existed. i.e. picture from first 71 festival up to this year. Then when gates open on the Wednesday you would have a picture of whoever is headlining that year..?
Great idea and very possible to get a company to make it...

Would be a good thing for Oxfam to do, like they did with the book last year.

If it's a countdown to the fest the other key dates for me are: registration, ticket buying day, worries over DX delivering, checking our gear, studying the weather forecast.
Other images would have to include: the first sight of Glastonbury Tor, one of the site direction signs in the distinctive Glasto lettering and the fence.
