The fact that to enter Wonderland you had to answer a Lewis Carrol riddle, get given a carrot, then get on your hands and knees and crawl through a winding tunnel lit with fairy lights to enter a secret room and watch Beans and Toast, Egg and Craig Charles is probably the easiest way of explaining why I love Glasonbury so much.

Is there anywhere else on earth that can offer this kind of escape from mundane day to day life?

This sums it up folks.
(H & Co, you are all legends)

The announced line up is always in the main bit of the tent, so as mentioned no need to answer riddles or crawl.

Edited to add that I've just taken a listen to Oui Ja Yes, who seem to be headlining Friday. They're rather good and might appeal to fans of the Egg.

For anyone who likes a bit of forward thinking hypnotic groovy techno look no further than this lot:

Flying Rhino’s dj’s follow with James  Monroe, Grantly and Slinky Wizard.

Had an excellent time last thursday when this lot were on.
