Pretty much what it says on the tin, are there any queues to get onto site from the pedestrian entrance?
Got the national express last year at 7am from london and was on site by 11 30, there was zero queue which was quite suprising. but yeah, this year our coach is leaving at 6am from london so in theory we should be on site at 10 30.... does anyone have any idea if i'm gonna face any queues?

Last year:
10:30pm Set off from Leeds
2:45pm Get to Glasto Car Park
7:00am Start Queuing to get through the gates
12:00pm Finally get through the gates after a 5 hour wate in red hot sunshine with no water / for sale
12:30pm get to pennards, and have to pitch next to toilets as no decent spaces left!!!!
To say we were in the car park at 2:45am weds you think we would have been able to pick a place to camp!!!
Never had this before at Glastonbury and hope it gets sorted this year

I am on coach also and hoping that as a reward for my Green Travel the queue to the entrance on Gate A will not be to long. From what I gather last year it wasn't too bad but might have to wait up to an hour at worst - which is fantastic!
I am guessing that if my coach (which leaves Birmingham at 5.30am) gets there 9am ish the queue might be worse but still hoping for 10.30am ish to get on site.
Fingers crossed!

not convinced about that - alot of people will have enjoyed being there the extra few days or day and with the car parks opening again early some people may well fancy doing the same again and enjoying the fiull 5 days
I hope not but there we are, once you get a taste for the 5 days theres no going back lol !

i arrived pedestrian gate A last year at around 9.30ish and the queue was tiny. i mean, it took me less than 10 minutes.
bare in mind that last year was football year too!

The great news this year, is I'm probably staying in the Village on Tuesday night. Hello Gate A at the crack of morning

Sounds like walking around to gate A via the main road is the answer. I'm certainly not hanging around in a car park all morning if it's like last year.
I suspect alot of people will be arriving early again this year even if it's pissing it down and without the footie factor !

I've gone round from gate C to A before a couple of years ago, when gate C wasn't opening on time for some reason, was terrible mistake because there was a massive queue at gate A, being slowed down by a team doing random bag checks.
So, it's probably best to stay in the queue you're in, unless you are in communication with someone else at one of the other gates

Considering this the gate which is including coach loads of people, coming from all over the country, its more than likely that there are sniffer dogs used at Gate AWhen you say police does that mean sniffer dogs as well? just dont wanna get my doobies taken off me!
I've never seen them coz I've usually used it only eveningish time on the Wednesday

The point I was trying to make, any mass rush to Gate A would probably be restricted by the PoliceThere wasn't one police officer there when I went in last year & my ticket didn't even get checked when I got my wrist band.
