I bought myself a Trangia for last years festival and loved cooking up some breakfasts and dinners.

I got some tins of beans and ravioli along with some packets of pasta. oh and not forgetting some Supernoodles!

I really look forward to cooking myself a nice bacon sarnie in the morning and sitting back with nice cup of tea that I've brewed myself! :)

Just wondering what food other people are planning to take and cook / heat up them selves?

Sorry if there is already a thread on this sort of thing.

Trying to choose what cakes to take..

Thinking cookies and mince pies I think cup cakes will go off. I'm baking them on the Sunday and ideally they will have to last till the Thursday.

Any suggestions?

I have one of these http://www.millets.c...ttribute=170641 Got it in 08 and it's amazing I was drinking tea at the Derby on Sat!

Other than that tea, coffee, hot choc, pot noodles and other add water foods will be taken, Might have boiled eggs and get milk of the tractor in the morning that reminded me of being a kid :)

Which trangia?

The oval army one is a cheep but good bit of kit, but heavy.

Smaller pita breads are about the same size as the lid/frying pan, and I have tried this with them. Melt some butter or use some spray on oil on the pan, stuff the pita with ketchup, cheese (tube or dairy lee style triangle) and add sliced up pepperami, keep turning untill the outside gets golden.

I proberbly is completely bad for you, but it tastes blooming loverly!
