The Avett Brothers are flying all the way over to London on Weds 22nd June and in Spain on Sat 25th.
They were amazing at Glasto last year and looked like they loved it. They are getting bigger and bigger and I keep hearing them all the time on TV now.
Why the hell aren't they on the bill somewhere over the weekend??? Someone please sign them up - unless they can be secret guest somewhere?

Could very well be a special guest at some point. I always wonder the same thing about Sigur Ros, can't understand why they havent been signed up since 2003(?)

I thought they were a dead cert but obviously not! Their Euro tour schedule looks very odd at the moment.

Hmmm, at least if they are in the Park special guests it would be the Friday if they are Spain on the Saturday (as I think the Friday one is more likely one that I could make)

"MURDER IN THE CITY!" "MURDER IN THE CITY!"
Shut the f**k up you c**t!!
Yeah would be fantastic to see them again - gutted they haven't been announced. I was sure they would be playing after that London gig was announced.

Heard they were trying to do a gig in Edinburgh/belfast over the festival so doubt it will happen - you should check out the Low Anthem in the Avalaon on Sunday night (they are also doing the pyramid on Sunday lunch-time though not sure that will work out). The Low Anthem aren't as upbeat as TAB, but if you like your Americana a bit moody, this will be for you - I'm addicted to their new album, Smart Flesh
TAB are touring in November as they've confirmed a gig for Glasgow. Thought they were brilliant at Avalon last year.

Our loss is Celtic gain I suppose. I'd have thought TAB would want to come back to Glasto!!!
I'll check out The Low Anthem anyways. Thanks for the tip off.
