Hey there, I'm a Glastonury virgin and heading there by myself pretty much as my friends (who had been before!) pulled out. So any good tips or advice for a solo newbie? Things like where is a good place to camp, good place to meet people and make friends? any advice would be really greatful.
15 days to go!!!

The best advice you'll probably get is to take your time and soak up the weekend, don't try and see everything because chances are you won't. Oh and camping at the bottom of hill is probably the worst place to camp, but I suppose that's stating the obvious somewhat.
Hopefully you won't feel like you're on your own, there's a lot of nice people going who will be happy to have a chat with a stranger. Just go for it

It's a cliche, but on arrival, sort your tent out and then walk to the top of The Park without looking back and then turn around.
Other than that just go with the flow. You will miss some great things, but that's only because there are even better things.

Even if you dont camp with the majority of solo flyers that have decided to at Camp Triangle, there is also the Efestival Cider Bus Meet on the Wednesday evening that a lot of people attend, The thread is pinned at the top of Page 1 of Chat.

I went on my own once and was not short of company, made new friends within hours of arrival and spent my week either with them, meeting friends who were also onsite or enjoying a bit of me time. Come say hi at the cider bus, meet some like minded people and have a great week!

Look for the Camping triangle thread and the solo flyers thread! It's my first time too, I'm heading to Pennards to join the other people coming on their own! Really looking forward to it
