Hey guys, anyone travelled up the fort William route to Dores? Usually go the a9 but due to roadworks etc we were thinking of trying another route or whether we are better to stick with the A9?? Any help would be appreciated

Fort William way is quality, wee road trip and the best scenery. Don't know anything bout roadworks on the a9 but we have gone the ft William way every year

From Paisley there is, Kingston bridge so busy in morning then roadworks on a80 to Stirling x

Go over the Erskine Bridge and stay on the A82 all the way to Inverness. That's best route, and most scenic.
