Eh? This whole thread is about hot weather and it gets hot when the sun comes out. Nobody thinks they'll get sunburnt sitting indoors with the central heating on, so I'm not sure why you think there is a general ignorance regarding UV vs IR radiation.

As for what they do in "Oz", I couldn't care less; I've never met an Australian I didn't find arrogant, boorish or dull.
