Hi there, I'd just like to give the cinema a little plug, as it is going to be something special this year. It has been programmed by Whirlygig Cinema (a.k.a little old me), a London-based arts initiative working to expose the talents of up-and-coming filmmakers. This year I was asked to run the Wychwood film tent, and decided to integrate it into the rest of the festival by focusing on music in film. We have loads of live acts, mainly exciting film-rescore artists and also we are honoured to have Oliver Ralfe from Ralfe Band playing, to coincide with us showing a couple of his films.

We also have lots of short film showreels, one of which was programmed by University of Gloucestershire to show off local talent. Also lots of weird and wonderful feature films, animations and documentaries. The aim is to create a place where people can continue to discover new music, besides filmmaking talent, at the festival, rather than just a chill-out zone.

You can see full programme listings here http://whirlygigcine...m/wychwood-2011

I've got to admit I'm very excited and I hope you like what we've got to offer!
