Well with 3 or so weeks to go may I propose that to help ease worries for anyone who has found themselves in a position which means that they are considering not attending:

a. due to a break up
b. chums being useless and not getting tickets
c. going on their own just because they are
d. decided to say f**k it to the miserable sods back home and hell yeah I'm still partying whilst you are silly and boring...

stand up and be counted as a proud solo flyer to the G, a place where you will always have friends around you and someone to talk to, you just havent met them yet!

Camp Triangle...bla bla bla... the unofficial campsite for Efesters from across the world, attached or not, flying solo or in a group, go check it out. An organic ever evolving simple set up for people to have a well located camping base and place to feel safe and amongst friends old and new is a place to consider heading to.

If that isnt for you, just still come to the fest, you wont regret it. One bit. :D

Hello!!

I'm B & D, friends have never wanted to go for some strange reason, so I thought I'd go solo!! A bit anxious and feel I might miss not having people around in the camp site other than that I'm really looking forward to it :)

I'm up for grabbing breakfast, dinner, seeing some bands or whatever if anyone wants to meet up also I'm considering driving from Suffolk if two or three want to squeeze in :)

I am more or less, got one older relative there but no cool people.

Did do camp triangle 2008 actually but friends did eventually appear on the Friday and then kind of dominated my time. It was certainly worth it on the wednesday....though to be honest I don't really remember it......for some guessable reason

B. All up for it last October, but didn't get tickets, and I couldn't hold them out till the re-sales before booking other summer holidays.

Really looking forward to being solo by day. Looking forward to the 'freedom' of that, to just buzz around wherever/whenever without having to deal with all the hassles of a group. But at night of course, it's a different story and you want to be stupid with fellow stupid people.

I'm going to try for CT, but I suspect I'll be too late.

3rd Glasto abd 3rd time on own - for reason C.  I have always camped with the lovely people in Camp Triangle - its great as a base and to have people to banter with.  But I love been able to wonder off on my own and do my own things when I want etc.  Even when away from Camp always manage to find people to talk to - I think I would be a bit lost if somebody actually wanted to come to Glasto with me now!

I am a C and the added option E - I travel on my own but my friends ARE at Glastonbury!

There is a fair amount of CT who travel on their own but by the Tuesday are safely ad happily camped up with the group of chums that gets ever bigger year on year as more and more solo flyers join the throng.

I will be arriving and camping on my own, but being part of CT meand I will not be lonely I am sure :)

3rd Glasto for me (1st was for my 50th :) ). My mate will be there but with her extended family, so I'd rather camp elsewhere

Looking forward to meeting people at CT and at the cider bus meets :)

Hi. I'm another "B & D" - maybe we all know the same people! I hope to get along to the CT but as I'm not arriving until Friday morning I may have to camp somewhere else. But if anyone is up for a meet in Herts/North London beforehand, count me in!

And another solo flyer.

I suppose a D, After 16 years of not getting a ticket despite attempts through local friends I said sod em and flew solo in 2005.

I can honestly say it is the best way to travel.

Well, Solo kind of,

I know at least 2 seperate groups of friends that are going and we are organising meet ups. One lot from Manchester way, another little group travelling with their kids from South Wales (and so want to camp in the family field). As we are all going from differnt places in the UK, a cider bus meet up makes sense (yes, yet another meet at the cider bus   I think I did manage 4 different meets up at the same time and place in 2009  ).

Looks like another group is not travelling with the Green Police this year. so that is one group of friends down on the last few years.

Last year is the first year I did not bump into a random person from my past that I had no idea would be there.

And of course there is always you loverly lot (read nutcases of the best sort) to keep me company.  :P

My mate was coming but his work would not let him have the time off. So flying solo going to the Wednesday and Thursday meets at the cider bus. Looking forward to meeting you all, If you dont mind an old bugger who still love his music.
