Girlies, what footwear would you wear with maxis? i can't imagine my gladiator sandals being very comfy..

Converse high tops.  And I just tie the maxi dress up at the side when I go to the loo/need to walk across anything vaguely muddy.

One definite recommendation is to take at least a couple of sarong/large square scarf type things. They are incredibly useful.  If it's hot you can make a kind of shrug out of them and put it over your shoulders and tie it at the back (maxi dress and sunshine = very painful shoulders).  They also work as:

something to sit on
something to use as a pillow
a towel
tie a couple together and string them between you and your mates tents = instant gazebo/shade
or you can just use them as sarongs or scarves

So yeah, probably up there with gaffer, wet wipes and hand sanitiser in my packing order  :D

I think I'll be wearing pumps with mine.

Does anyone know where I can a decent day bag from? I'm looking for a across the body type one with a zip fastening big enough to carry the usual things including a couple of cans. the ones I've seem one the small side.

I got a good one from Fat Face, fits the lot, goes across your body and isn't too big or too small. I took one from Primark last year and it fell apart on the first day!

Hi Girlies! I don't think I've ever worn a maxi dress to Glastonbury before. I'm feeling inspired to do so this year!

I know of this website: www.oshun.co.uk which sells festival style clobber - including pirate inspired stuff. Is fancy dress Friday still happening? Tbh I usually do some sort of fairy costume every day anyway.  :)

I always wear maxi dresses, and do exactly the same thing, pair them with converse and tie them up when going to the loos... i also take sarongs and scarves for all the reasons you mention plus i use them to put my hair up in too :D

Hey Girls!

I blogged about fashion at the IOW Festival - there is a girl wearing a maxiskirt here - see what you think! I think they look great with boots and the 'clip' idea is amazing!!!

Also great inspiration for the rest of the Summer festival fashion!

Hope you enjoy!!
