Seeing as I'm doing Glastonbury on a budget I've being scouring charity shops. Got a few bargains this morning including a Zara maxi dress for £3.50

I've just had a purple wig delivered from ebay so I'll be trying that one on when I get home!
I'm really after some old band t-shirts, but the ones I've purchased over the last couple of years have all been that horrible thick material. I want some thin ones that I can customise etc. Anyone got any ideas where I should be looking?

Maybe you should look out for fake band T Shirts as they tend to be of poorer quality ie. Thinner material. Not sure where you get them though

after reading your "pulling" post fluffy I'm guessing you've already stocked up on crotchless knickers and peep hole bras?

Sod the crotchless knickers though... I'm just gonna go commando
I can see myself turning up at the meet with all the ladies holding back their partners and shooting me daggers.
I'm not looking for a shag, just to make that clear btw

For 16 years I've had the same jacket and trousers. I do have new t-shirts, socks and shorts though.
I like to think it's vintage chic, but it's probably more tramp

I've just pulled my 19 year old Glasto frock out of the dressing up box and have washed it ready for another astounding fashion moment at Glastonbury. Hmmmm. Or is it an astonishing/outdated fashion moment?

19 years old? Thats vintage...definitly in fashion!
Good thread Fluffy. Along with the health kick (which includes turning down going out for dinner tonight!) I have been spending what little money I do have on lovely sundresses for the G (I am that confident!) and also having watched a very hot Johnny Depp last night in Pirates 4, I have been inspired into digging out my pirate wench cossie!
I usually have at least one item of clothing that I wore back at the G in 95 packed even if I dont wear it.

Yeah I have the same dress which I take every year as it's very pretty and I can pull it on in the morning. It always seems to fit too even with my expanding waistline. I realised after last time though that all my photos since 2005 show me in the dress so I'm thinking I need a change. I seem to picking up summer dresses too because it is going to be a scorcher

I'll def be taking a couple but I imagine if it rains they'll be no use as trailing muddy messes doesn't seem appealing. Of course thats not going to happen though.

Mud didnt even enter my mind - coz it will be bone dry!
So, I shall take a couple too - and wear them with my leather boots lol
I do have shorts and strappy tops - even bought a boobtube type playsuit! (easy to pull off when going to the loo lol)

I have taken delivery of a child sized hat (aged 8-10 years) for myself as I have a pea-sized head.

eBay is a good place to look - also HMV, I got a GnR and Misfits t-shirts from there for £5 each which I have cut up and customised.
Last year in the scorching heat I was quite cool with my shorts and baggy customised t-shirts, and as it will be that hot again that is the look I'll be going for! Tried and tested!

yet to buy anything new as im a student in leeds and all the charity shops in town here are really rubbish. however as quite an eccentric dresser anyway. i always put out my loudest clothes for the occasion. my favourite for this year is a gold sequin jacket, gold sequin harem pants, and gold sequin dress (i plan to cut in to the shape of a top) . i just need glitter and a top hat now...
