Hi. As an original acid house rave boy, I am very excited about going to Bez's Acid House. I assume they play old skool stuff?
Any of you guys/gals been and if so, was it worth it?

Yeah it was brilliant last year. Had a 'moment' coming up on a pill to Slam - Positive Education. Loads of smoke, could barely see in front of me!!!

For me it was the highlight of the festival. 808 played pretty much all of your favourite genuine old school tracks. GTO Pure Energy, Friends Of Matthew Out There, Joey Beltram Energy Flash etc etc etc. Strobe and smoke machine, couldn't see your hand in front of your face. Proper step back in time. In all my days since going out in '91 this is the only place I've been that really captured those hazy old school nights. Just hoping it can live up to my expectations second time round!

Stakker "Humanoid" in there last year was fiendish. Positive Education also a choon.
The strobe in there is fairly 'ardcore it has to be said. I had to close the aul peepers a couple times.
Getting old.

Truly is the best place to party on site. One rush after the other and the music just doesnt stop (except when we are kicked out at 4 or 5am!). Very easy to lose a fair few hours in there.

Loved loved loved it.
Bez is a legend, had a good half hour of reminiscing about a rave we went to in 1989 - he was more than happy to sit and enthuse about the old days! Classic on the Sunday though when he couldn't be found! It did end up very messy.
His boys were dj'ing with him - total chip off the old block.
I would fully recommend this for the old skool ravers amongst us!

I remember (just) being in here the Sunday night last year, it was a real peasouper, bez was going mental behind the decks.
Who was it that dragged me in there?

It was rather smoky wasnt it? That definitely stuck in my mind every time I visited. Such a small tent but so full of smoke/dry ice you can be forgiven to thinking its much bigger.

Had a wicked time in there on the Friday last year after leaving Muse early and was probably the highlight of my festival. Took me right back to the early 90's, hot, sweaty and so much smoke you could barely see. And defo had a moment there when 808 state droped "yeke yeke" with bez two feet away screaming "this is my house"!

Also, just to reiterate what everone else has said - proper banging old-skool stuff. Great atmosphere. Tunes.
If you're in the area give Rev Sharky's Church a look too (not so much house orientated, but a good dance tent).

I NEED this in my life! Simply can't wait. I could quite happily lose a few MD induced nights doing this

I've never been in but it looks cool from the outside. Here's some of the signage on it from 2010:

There isnt much inside tbh. Just Bez and friends, decks, a couple of speakers, a bit of a central podium area and a load of sweaty, wide eyed pill munchers all reliving their yoof!
Dont need much more than that though!
