your chances of being born into the lucky 3 or 4 billion were only just above 50/50 (we just got lucky, plain and simply)

The creation and sustainment of the abject poverty experienced by over 1.7 billion of the world's population has nothing to do with luck.

I don't see the negativity you refer to and I don't see a need to rationalise people's contrasting opinions as being down to that.

Nah, I disagree. Not about the line-up being better mind you, it could be a lot better. No no, the line-up should never affect your Glastonbury experience too much in my opinion. I remember in 2008 I probably saw four or five bands that year...and I'll tell you what. I had one of my best years yet!
Last year, saw 8? 9? acts, an even better year! In fact is was the best Glastonbury I've ever had!
Glastonbury is what you make of people :)

Your point is flawed  :P

glastonbury is amazing. it gives me something to feel happy about every day.

i love every second of it, and a queue is not going to stop me feeling ridiculously hyper and excited :D

Absolutely this.

I've been thinking about going back there since I left the last time and I know this may sound a bit weird but it makes my year complete and I don't know how I'm going to cope without it next year.

it's not weird! i've thought about glastonbury every day since i first got a ticket in 09. sometimes i try not to think about it because i get too excited then start feeling a bit mental

i'm really going to miss it next year, but it just means i'll have a really amazing time this year, i'll have money to spend on other festivals, and in 2013 i'll probably feel a million times more excited than i do now (if that's possible) because i'll be so happy to go back :)
