I cant understand how a glastonbury goer can have this attitude.

Do you report all the people at the festival you see taking drugs to the police?

Yup, reminds me of the Bill Hicks routine. Take out all the artists who took or were inspired by drugs, see who your left with.

The thing is, your average festival goer isn't in the public eye.

If it was only coke he was caught with he should've been given a big pat on the back for staying away from the brown!

Quite the opposite. I have been going to festivals for more years than I care to remember and drugs( of all varieties) are part and parcel for players and public alike but sometimes you just have to keep your head under the parapets. Hes had more warnings than the man in the street would receive and that smacks of injustice....one rule for one etc. Lets face it he always seems to be around trouble and has been a bit of an arse....so much for the quiet life in the country.

Just a view that all :)

25 times he has been in court on drugs charges, according to Sky News. That's pretty impressive.

the thing is, how does he manage to get caught so often?! Sounds like he's useless at staying away from the police. If you've got a bit of gak on you, or whatever, stay in the bloody house / party!
He was caught AT COURT once with heroin! I thought he was meant to be an intelligent guy?!

If you read these boards, it'll take more than being in prison during the Glastonbury weekend to convince some people that their favourite act isn't going to turn up at the Park at some point!

Please don't use Sky news as a valid source for anything ever again

whatever gave you that idea???

regardless of how much of a helmet he is (and he does appear to be an enormous one) I still dont like to see people jailed under our archaic drug laws.

I have little problem whith people getting up to what they want provided they aren't causing harm to other. Doherty has as a resault of drugs robbed people and more importantly got behind the wheel of a car while off his face. He's proved he can't go about thing like a responsible adult so I now have no sympathy.
