I've hired a caravan and it's being pitched in the east campervan field. We have a friend coming down in her car with the intention of pitching a tent behind our caravan, so far so good.
But, she has to park her car in the car parks.
Which would be the best car park for her to head to? Want to minimise the trek with all her kit back to East Campervan field.

Access to the East Campervan field is via the Blue Route and this is also the route that the festival website recommends for car parking as follows:
"If you have a choice, use the Blue Route (approach from the A303, then the A37), where there is more parking space and less of a queue to get in and out of the site."
If you take a look at the site map here you will see the East Campervan fields marked in dark green, numbers E13-E24. If your friend comes in on the blue route she will end up in the car parking areas E1-E12 (white on the map) which should minimise the walk (the actual distance depending of course on where your caravan is pitched and where she gets directed to park).
Have a good one. Might see you as I've hired a caravan in East campervan too.

I camped next to a mates van last yr in E24, I arrived first thing wednesday and they chucked us in E10 to park, basically the further eastern car park away from where we wanted to go. It was a killer walk with all the kit & heat. As we walked to site some other fields were full of cars some were empty & some were part filled? didnt make any sense to me. So suppose its pot luck!
Whenever Ive taken my van I've taken other peoples kit with me to save them the hassle of a huge trek accross the site.
So I'd suggest that seeing as you have a caravan that you take the main bulk of her kit with you in your van, and that will be your ARK done for the day.
