Unless he gets parole for good behaviour, he could be out in 3.

Doubt he will be at R+L now. I saw him last night at Leeds 02 academy, he was bloody brilliant, just him and his guitar. His own fault but i'm abit gutted now!

Will FR replace him now or line-up a replacement in reserve in case he isn't let out early?

Maybe, but considering the FR line up hasn't been revealed they could just bump up the sub and no one will know as they rarely* ever replace acts. Could be a chance for the rumours of Cribs & Subways to come true though.
*Only time I can think of is when Avenged Sevenfold & Slipknot pulled out and they got Bring Me The Horizon who weren't big then and I've seen loads of acts pull out and not get replaced.

Yeah true, I thought this may be different as he's a headliner. I guess they still have him as headliner and if he isn't out they'll bump everyone up (I think Brother are the general consensus to be playing below him unfortunately).

I'd hope they'd bring someone else in, still plenty of time before the fest. Maybe Melvinn could allow Suede to do another couple of gigs.

Even if he gets released in 3 months to the day, he'll be a let out around a week before the festival. I think that's too much of a gamble for FR. I presume they will replace him, which will be welcome news.

I doubt Mariner can accurately convey the opinions of everyone going to the festival, so if he's glad that Doherty may be replaced then fair enough. It's his opinion. I don't remember him saying that he spoke for everybody or that everyone thought the same as him.
