We're celebrating the end of the world at the Snakepit this year, and you're all invited! Party today, we may all be dead tomorrow. Anything is possible in Shangri La.

Instead of fighting people off on Wednesday and Thursday, we're going to open up for the mother of all warm up parties. Twice. Come and get quietly slaughtered with the pole stars, caged sirens and TNT DJs on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Cocktail bar and tattoo parlour open from 7pm to 3am.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the Snakepit will be running at its normal raucous volume levels and we've got so much love to share that we've decided to to open daytime too. We'll have a final-ish line up shortly, but there's going to be toxic cabaret, live music and DJs from 3pm to 6am. It seemed a good idea at the time. Oh the perils of cocktail testing. At least you won't be herded the long way round to reach us . . .

Nice. Looking forward to experiencing more of the nooks & crannies of the Shangri-La/Arcadia area rather than just the usual gubbins.

I took this to mean you wouldn't be herded if you went earlier.

not really, cos your skin is cleaned, shaved and then doused in alcohol solution before any tattoo & the needles are fresh out of the packet. Shouldn't really be any different - although it would be harder to make sure the initial after-care was spot-on if you're not showering etc!

Glad you liked them. We've got some equally mint surprises lined up for this year!

With a bit of luck moving around within the late night concentration camp should be fine, once you get past the guards and barbed wire on the way in.

Nope, it's deep in lock down territory - but there's easy access during the day.

Transfers. Our tattoo crew are great, but they do like to party. By 3am I wouldn't trust them with a biro let alone a tattoo machine! I'll try to post a sneak preview of our new "toxic wasted" tattoos for you
